SIOC-CDT Community Builder Programme – 2026 Vacancy

SIOC Community Development Trust (SIOC-CDT) is offering an exciting Community Builder vacancy across five beneficiary municipalities in the Northern Cape and Limpopo. About the Role

This Community Builder vacancy is a 24-month fixed-term contract with a monthly stipend and UIF contribution. Specifically, SIOC-CDT seeks to appoint five Community Builders across the following municipalities: Ga-Segonyana, Joe Morolong, Tsantsabane, Gamagara, and Thabazimbi. Furthermore, each Community Builder will serve as a direct interface between SIOC-CDT and its primary stakeholders. As a result, you will strengthen the organisation’s presence and enhance the reach of its development programmes on the ground.


Key Responsibilities

In this Community Builder vacancy, you will play a vital role in community engagement and programme support. For instance, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Share active information about SIOC-CDT projects and programmes with beneficiary communities
  • Gather information on community needs, problems, and opportunities to support project planning
  • Identify resource persons and NPO/NGOs that add value to SIOC-CDT’s development work
  • Arrange and facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions across your designated municipality
  • Participate proactively in community platforms to understand and relay stakeholder needs
  • Submit periodic reports to the Stakeholder Officer as required
  • Support administrative and logistical duties for stakeholder relations programs

Who Should Apply

First, confirm that you meet the minimum NQF Level 6 qualification requirement (National Diploma or Degree). Moreover, you must reside in one of the five SIOC-CDT Beneficiary Local Municipalities to qualify.
